Overview:
The Aston Martin DB9 is a high-performance ultra-luxury coupe and Volante convertible. Often praised for its precise handling, the DB9 is also known for having one of the most distinct exhaust notes in any sports car. The Aston Martin DB9 is powered by a 6.0-liter V-12 engine that has 450 horsepower and 420 pounds-feet of torque. There are two transmission options: a six-speed manual gearbox and Touchtronic II, a button-controlled six-speed automatic. The interior is enhanced with Bridge of Weir leather, and an optional walnut, mahogany or bamboo wood trim. Standard safety features for the DB9 include seat-mounted side-impact airbags, all-disc antilock brakes and an electronic stability system. For 2008, the Aston Martin DB9 gets new interior styling and some tech upgrades such as a standard Bluetooth interface.
